Effective as of November 8, 2021, individuals with F-1 student visa status are required to show proof of COVID vaccination in order to enter the US. Vaccinations must align with the US’s approved list of COVID-19 vaccines.
Only two exceptions apply:
Student is from a country with limited COVID-19 vaccine availability (see list here).
Student is under 18 at the time of travel.
Effective December 6, 2021, all international travelers (regardless of vaccination status) must show results of a negative coronavirus test taken one day before their flight’s departure from a foreign country traveling to the United States.
For those passengers traveling under one of the above exceptions they must complete and present the Combined Covered Attestation Form to the airline at the time of departure. Passengers must be prepared to answer questions regarding Section 4 of the form and should have a clear understanding of their schools covid policies.
If neither vaccine exceptions apply to your students and your students remain unvaccinated, they may not be able to enter the US on the date of their scheduled travel.

Is quarantine required upon arrival on campus?
Students who are not fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine will need to quarantine for seven days after arrival in the United States and present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result after their quarantine period and within 72 hours of move-in. Note that the cost of quarantine lodging is not part of program cost and students should plan accordingly.
Can I quarantine in student housing?
Limited on-campus quarantine options may be available. If you are arriving to the United States unvaccinated and would prefer to quarantine on campus, please contact Ling Chen directly at ling.chen@adelphi-international.org. Please note there are a limited number of beds; reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Otherwise students will need to pay to quarantine in a hotel.

Students must arrive early enough to quarantine before classes begin. If students are not able to and will still be under quarantine when classes start, students will be able to join classes virtually.
