Shorelight and the University of Nevada, Reno Announce Nevada Global

Shorelight and the University of Nevada, Reno today announced the launch of Nevada Global, a joint collaboration that will operate international admissions for the University and connect international undergraduate and graduate students with unparalleled academic and research opportunities.

Nevada Global will help the University recruit international students worldwide and bolster retention by delivering comprehensive support services designed to assist students through every step of their US education journey. Students will benefit from application and enrollment support, visa preparation, academic and English-language assistance, and social support services to help them acclimate to campus life.

As a Nevada land-grant university founded in 1874, the University is a comprehensive doctoral university, classified as an R1 institution with very high research activity by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. Additionally, it has attained the prestigious “Carnegie Engaged” classification, reflecting its student and institutional impact on civic engagement and service fostered by extensive community and statewide collaborations.
