Previously known as the Center for Academic Success (CAS), the platform has evolved significantly since its launch in January 2024. Shorelight Connect now brings together everything international students need—from pre-arrival to career outcomes—in one integrated platform, organized by journey stage to meet students where they are.
Originally created as an academic support resource, CAS earned international recognition with a Highly Commended for Student Support distinction at the 2025 PIEoneer Awards. The transition to Shorelight Connect reflects the platform’s broader mission and growing impact on the international student experience.
