Mercer University provides 150+ student clubs and organizations and is home to the Mercer Bears and the Bragg Jam Music Festival. Mercer is the only private university in Georgia with an NCAA Division I athletic program. Mercer focuses on professional experience as an integral part of academics, and to that end Mercer’s Innovation Center aims to create 10,000 jobs and fuel Atlanta’s rise to a top-five tech start-up center in the U.S. Students use the knowledge gained from their experiences at the Innovation Center to start their own companies that focus on innovative technology and social responsibility.
