International students, you now have a fast track to success in international business careers. Enroll in the flexible, part-time Master of International Business distance learning program from UofSC’s number-one-ranked international business school, the Darla Moore School of Business, and add a top-ranked credential to your portfolio. If you are not yet ready for a master’s degree, two virtual international business certificate programs can also boost your career and your network.

Study safely and securely at home with award-nominated Live technology, and experience greater engagement with top instructors than in a traditional classroom.

When you start here, you can go anywhere in the world: in 2019, 85% of Darla Moore School of Business Master of International Business (MIB) alumni found employment within six months of graduation, often with top employers including Bank of America, KPMG, Microsoft, and more. Earning potential is high, with average salaries starting around $73,000 for graduates.

“The MIB program opens my eyes to various issues, opportunities, and risks that are often overlooked,” says Ho, a 2020 MIB student from Vietnam. “The ability to see hidden potential and foresee underlying risks is a vital asset in my career pursuit. As I am currently working for a multinational company looking to expand in emerging markets, the program helps me look beyond country and cultural boundaries and come up with creative ways to work well in the world with constrains and limited resources.”

Master of International Business, Global Strategy Certificate, and Master’s Start Business programs

Three available tracks start your journey to international business success!

The Master of International Business program lets you study remotely over one- to two years, live in real time, to earn your master’s degree. Classes are offered during evenings on a part-time schedule, convenient for working professionals, and feature bilingual language support with local counselors. All-remote or remote-to-campus options are available.

When you complete the Global Strategy Certificate, your versatile new certification demonstrates to both employers and graduate school admissions officers that you have developed and mastered valuable international business skills. Additionally, you gain front-of-the-line access to the highly competitive MIB program at UofSC: historically, applicants have an average 3.5 GPA, and score 310 on the GRE, 600 on the GMAT, and 104 on TOEFL. By meeting the rigorous requirements of the Global Strategy Certificate, you present yourself as an outstanding candidate for either employment or graduate admission.

If you opt for Master’s Start Business, stand out from the crowd when you add your transcript and certificate of completion to your portfolio. With this credential, you show employers you have mastered the fundamentals of international business—and will bring valuable in-demand skills to your new role.

Overall, the MIB program offers “great international exposure in a cohort that has students coming from [more than] sixteen regions and countries,” says Heather, a 2020 MIB student from Hong Kong.
