Job Overview

The Talent Specialist supports the Talent Acquisition team in a dynamic, global organization experiencing high growth. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, team player who has superb interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong customer service ethic. The Talent Specialist works with the Talent Acquisition team to source candidates; manage Shorelight’s applicant tracking system (ATS); schedule interviews; in partnership with other members of the HR team, coordinate administration of Predictive Index and background checks; and generate offer letters.  The Talent Specialist will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition. 

Essential Functions

ATS Management

  • Enter all job requisitions into Shorelight’s applicant tracking system (ATS) and post requisitions to all job boards and online platforms
  • Serve as functional expert on the ATS and answer related questions from hiring managers and candidates as necessary
  • Schedule in-person candidate interviews within the ATS
  • Generate offer letters
  • Create employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality
  • Run various reports in the ATS as required

Administrative Support

  • In partnership with other members of the HR team, coordinate administration of Predictive Index
  • Manage the background check initiation process and track status of all screenings
  • As needed, assist with onsite interviews in the Boston office

Sourcing of Candidates

  • Proactively identify top level talent for open positions within Shorelight using Talent Acquisition resources such as the ATS, external job sites, and referrals
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Partners to pipeline candidates for future openings within the company

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or administrative role
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Past experience supporting multiple stakeholders with conflicting needs and timelines
  • Experience managing the calendar(s) of others
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Jobvite or another similar applicant tracking system
  • 1+ years of sourcing passive candidates
  • Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter
